Q1: Can I upgrade my 12kW EVDC to 25kW?
A: Yes, but only if you have the upgradeable version (10m cable model). You can purchase the software license from our store to unlock 25kW. The old 7m cable model does NOT support this upgrade.
Q2: Do I need to change any hardware for the upgrade?
A: No. The hardware fully supports 25kW from the start. You only need to purchase and activate a software license via the mySigen App.
Q3: Will I actually get 25kW after upgrade?
A: Hardware supports it, but actual output depends on real-time available power from your solar generation, battery level, and home grid load. The system manages this automatically.
Q4: Is the license a one-time purchase?
A: Yes. Purchase once, and your module runs at 25kW permanently.
Q5: Can I use this charging module as a standalone product?
A: No. This module must be used with a SigenStor energy storage system.
Q6: What is the difference between the 10m and 7m versions?
A: The 10m version is the new upgradeable model that can be unlocked to 25kW via software. The 7m version is the original model and does NOT support the 25kW upgrade.
